The fires that have ravaged California this summer have been the largest in the state’s history.

At the peak of the California wildfires in July, more than 200,000 acres burned in the entire state of California.

In August, that number jumped to over 250,000.

It’s now the most massive wildfire outbreak in California history, and is expected to burn for months.
