The Football Italian is delighted to announce the arrival of the new signing of Milan Bologna, signing the new player on the eve of his first day in Italy
01/06/18 – 18:05ZAGREB, Switzerland (AP) Milan Bagnoli have signed young striker Marco Faraone from Lazio for €5m ($7.6m) on loan.
The 22-year-old scored six goals in 13 games last season for the Serie A side.
Bagnoli had been hoping to sign the youngster on loan but his contract expired on January 6.
The Italian club said they had not signed the player for a fee above €10m but did not rule out selling him at the end of the season.
“Marco Faraones talent is outstanding,” said coach Carlo Domenicali.
“He is young and has the ability to grow and develop.
The loan is the most important thing for the club.
The club is in a very good situation and is working hard for Marco Falaones future.”
The loan deal is the first of several Milan signings for the rest of the summer and Faraoni will be joined by former Lazio forward Mario Balotelli.
The move comes as Lazio continue to fight their way back into the Champions League group stages with victory over Juventus.
The Rossoneri have conceded eight goals in their last two league games, the lowest tally in Serie A history.
The striker, who can play on the left or right, will be in the starting line-up for Saturday’s clash against Bologno.
